In-Kind Donation Needs

We really appreciate all the donations we receive from the community!

Clothing Is a constant need, however, for storage and heath reasons we are currently only accepting new clothing. The clothing we receive we keep on hand for our hospital response rape victims, and for women and children who come in to our safe house with just the clothes on their backs. We encourage any clothing donations to be given to Deseret Industries (D.I) who provides us with vouchers for needs our clients might have.

Drop-off place for donation items will be at our Main Offices at 95 N Main Street Suite 22 above Bulloch Drug Store. Donations can be dropped off Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. Please call if you need directions or would like help bringing in items.

Items we are in current need of:

  • Full Size Conditioner
  • Trash Bags
  • Saran Wrap
  • Ziplock bags
  • 8x10 Frames
  • Quilts
  • Pantry Food Items

We have clients who are being re-housed with nothing to start over with and need some help with basic items such as kitchen tables, beds, dressers, and couches.

Below are other items we always need:

Gift Cards
We give these directly to the women and children in our services including our hospital response/rape recovery clients. We also use them to buy things for our Safe House. Walmart, Dollar Tree, Lin’s, and Smith’s are popular choices.

Gas Cards
Gas cards are a great need for the victims going to and from job interviews, work, school and emergencies. They also assist with relocation for those that need to escape the area.

Toys & Entertainment
New or gently used toys and games/puzzles, (due to health/cleanliness concerns we can no longer accept stuffed animals) new or gently used DVDs (G or PG rated), or books.

Welcome Kits
Welcome kits are great for when someone checks into our safe house. Ideas for things to include: basic hygiene items, towels/washcloths, books or small toys, crayons/coloring books, non-perishable treats for children (fruit snacks, granola bars, etc).

Hospital Response Kits
For the rape victims that we meet and work with at the hospital. They often need a snack and a change of clothes. Ideas for these: bottled water, granola bar or other nonperishable snack item. We also keep new sweats, t-shirts, socks, and underwear on hand for them.

Moving Kits
These are great for when the women move out of shelter into a new home. Ideas: basic cleaning supplies, dish soap, laundry supplies, toilet paper, paper plates, napkins, paper towels, plastic silverware, paper cups, brooms, and mops. We also give them a food box from our pantry when they move out so non-expired canned food and pasta are welcomed.

School Supplies Kit
A new backpack with basic school supplies like notebook, folders, binder, pencils, etc. is great to get the kids in shelter or in transitional housing started off right at school.
